Born in France and educated and trained in France and in the UK, Valerie is perfectly bilingual and she has worked extensively on several continents, first as a fringe theater and TV actress, then in Voice-Overs, ADR, and various dubbing projects, lending her voice to numerous US actresses for the French market ( Meg Ryan , Shirley MacLaine , Katie Holmes , Diane Keaton , Amanda Peet , Helen Hunt , Mare Winningham , Robin Givens , Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio , Diana Hardcastle , Diane Lane , Talia Shire , and many many others). A trained linguist, expert in phonetics and applied linguistics, translator and interpreter with a reputation for paying particular attention to authenticity, accuracy and detail, Valerie has also worked extensively in the entertainment industry as a Voice and Dialect Coach (various UK and French accents, South/West African, Italian, etc.) for TV series (the last three seasons of Alias (2001-2006), several seasons of The Unit (2005-2006), The L Word (2004-2009) etc.) and various international commercials. Valerie also served as Technical Advisor on the Alias (2001) series, for European scenes.
